My artwork reflects a feminist theme, which encompasses my personal life experience. I am fascinated by the colour of pink Pink dominates my art works of abstract painting and female figures which demonstrated with a great deal of floral symbols and patterns. Those symbols and patterns reflect my perception of femininity. In my new art collection, I used a great deal of infinity net painting and repetitve patterns to form my art work, by using elements of the female figure, flower and fabric dots to present the feminine features.

“Notion of Beauty”. It is an installation created with wrapping paper, fabric, mannequins, famous band trim, and acrylic.,
Women’s values to beauty are deeply influenced by the mass media, which conveys the secular ‘ Standard of Beauty” to us. Influenced by the endless brainwashing by the media and the wide spread ideology about standard of beauty, majority of women lay eyes on the prestigious brands in fashion and cosmetic, while they overlook the true values and morals that lie within themselves. While they feverishly following the latest fashion trends and wearing the latest brands of cosmetics, they got lost in the materialistic world.
This art work intends to manifest how greatly materialism can influence our perception to beauty and how powerful can the media be in distorting our ways of thinking.

“The Face Within”; is about self-expression. The medium was acrylic on canvas. The unique feature of these paintings is the faceless subject with replacement of patterned masks. The patterns of the masks represent the of the factitious facade of the female subjects. Beneath their gorgeous and contented masks lay the deep-rooted problems that lead to pain and anger. The subjects’ contemplative gestures illustrate a desire to escape from their painful reality while the surrounding cold color tone reflects the despairing and sorrowful situations they are going through.
“Self”; is about self-expression. The medium was acrylic on canvas , paper, cutting paper pattern, charcoal, and clay. I want to express the feeling of “Coexistence of beauty and melancholy” through this art piece
I used colorful organic forms, images of young women with different postures, and various patterns as the major elements in my artwork.
The colorful organic forms lie in the background of my works. I let the acrylic colors run freely on the paper and canvas. To create a more lively color tone on the papers, I added lots of water in the acrylic paint.
I started using clay to make rose flowers to create a 3D effect which make my art work more diverse. Rose is my favorite flower and it symbolized romance, meanwhile we might get hurt by the spikes if we touch the roses. Thus, the roses indicate “Coexistence of beauty and melancholy”
“Self” composed of canvasses in varying sizes and is presented as an installation. Clays and paper cut patterns were pasted on the canvasses to create a 3D effect,, as something is escaping the boundary to seek for freedom.
In my eyes the fading strokes of color related to beauty, happiness, joy and all kind of positive things, whereas flowers symbolize freedom.
These paintings of young ladies represent “beauty and sadness" at the same time. These young women with no face in monochrome manifest lost spirit and unhappiness.

“ Pink Process” represents a city with two aspects- Fantasy and reality. The trunk and the branches were painted with acrylic while the real branches are extended from the top of the canvas. This manifestation implies the coexistence of Fantasy and Reality. The reason I picked pink as the theme color because it is a potent color for emotion expressions. The color pink represents fantasy in “Pink Process”, the extension of pink branches represent there are no boundaries for fantasy. The city in the background represents the reality. This painting brings the two different worlds together meaning that Fantasy and Reality can be existed in the same space at the same time.
